How to Preserve your Perfume
Perfumes have a scent which makes the user feel good, boosts confidence, triggers memories, make you more attractive and provides aromatherapy. For this to be the case every single time the user applies this, the perfume must be preserved in a manner that its scent is kept intact.
Firstly, we must realise that perfumes are made of chemicals. These chemicals have enemies which at molecular level, are damaging to the composition of chemicals. The enemies are: Oxygen, Daylight and Extreme Temperature.
These components cause chemical breakdown which causes the scent of the perfume to change.
There are a few ways to ensure that scent of perfume is preserved and last longer! We cannot stop perfume decomposition, but we can slow it down.
The easiest way is to ensure that we always keep the bottle lid on after use. This will ensure that less oxygen makes its way into our bottles!
Additionally, the bottle should be kept in a dark place, away from daylight.
Lastly, the bottles should be kept in a cool environment. This is to say that perfumes should be kept at temperatures between 12°C to 22°C. The less temperature fluctuations the better.
